AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic SAE 190 (SRN) and SAE 250 (SRT) Gear Lubricants are premium grade, extreme pressure gear lubes engineered specifically for the demands of severe racing conditions. They are formulated with shear stable, heavy synthetic base oils for “high film strength” and extra heavy treatments of additives. Their synthetic formulations provide improved flow over conventional oils, reducing viscous drag and power loss. Severe Gear SAE 190 and SAE 250 Gear Lubes provide a barrier cushion between metal surfaces that absorbs impact. AMSOIL proprietary extreme pressure additives form an iron-sulfide barrier coating on gear surfaces for the ultimate line of defense against wear, pitting and scoring.

Slip Lock Differential Additive. (ADA) Formulated with advanced friction modifiers. Eliminates gear-housing chatter in cars, trucks and SUVs equipped with limited-slip, positraction and locking differentials. For use with both synthetic and petroleum gear lubricants and safely replaces manufacturer-recommended friction modifiers.

Slip Lock Differential Additive (ADA)
When making a turn, the outer wheels of a vehicle must travel faster than the inner wheels. It is up to the differential to act as a balance arm, establishing constant equilibrium of torques and forces between the left-hand and right-hand driven wheels. In standard (or open) differentials, power is directed to the wheel offering the least resistance. This works well when making a turn, but in a situation where one wheel is lifted off the ground, it causes the suspended wheel to turn while the other remains motionless.

AMSOIL Slip Lock Differential Additive is formulated for use with both synthetic and petroleum gear lubricants and safely replaces manufacturer recommended friction modifiers. Its convenient flip-top dispenser provides quick and easy application to the gear housing. One four-ounce bottle of Slip Lock treats differential capacities of two to four quarts. It is not for use in automatic transmissions or other applications requiring ATF.

AMSOIL offers several other heavy duty gear / transmission lubes, such as those used in OTR truck transmissions. You can find them here (click on this link).
You might think, "o.k., these products sound good. But how do I get the old oil out of my differential or manual transmission ?" Well, we have an answer for that. The AMSOIL Fluid Extraction Pump, G2576,will get the job done.

Warning:
Prior to installing fluids into the desired system, AMSOIL recommends thoroughly cleaning the internal components, pump cylinder, and hose.
This product is Not recommended for use with gasoline or brake fluid.
Assembly:
Slide the 12-inch nylon hose over the fitting on the end of the Fluid Extraction Gun until hose fits tightly. If needed, a small coat of oil may be used to lubricate the hose fitting for easier installation.
Operation:
The Fluid Extraction Gun operates simply by pulling the handle back to remove the fluid from reservoir. (Note: The Fluid Extraction Reservoir extracts approximately 16 fl. oz. per cycle)
To remove fluid from reservoir, simply push handle back to release fluid. Fluids that are cold will be more difficult to extract. When possible, start vehicle for a short amount of time to allow fluids to heat slightly before removing.
Maintenance:
The rubber suction piston is oil resistant to a number of products such as motor oil, coolant, power steering fluid, transmission fluid and gear oil. However, it is recommended for longer service life to wipe dry with a clean cloth, all contacting parts of the Fluid Extraction Gun after every usage.
