AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO)
Made with premium-grade full synthetic media. Ea Oil Filters feature advanced full synthetic nanofiber technology, making them the highest efficiency filters that are available for the auto/light truck market. AMSOIL EaO Filters are guaranteed for 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL synthetic motor oil in normal service. In severe service, change oil and filter at recommended severe service oil drain interval.
Absolute Efficiency:
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO) have the best efficiency rating in the automotive/light-truck market. EaO Filters provide a filtering efficiency in accordance with industry standard ISO 4548-12 of 98.7 percent at 15 microns, while competitive filters containing conventional cellulose media range from 40 to 80 percent efficiency.
Less Restriction:
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters have significantly lower restriction than conventional cellulose media filters. Their small synthetic nanofibers trap smaller particles and hold more contaminants, resulting in lower restriction. During cold temperature warm-up periods, an EaO lube filter allows the oil to easily flow through the filter compared to a typical cellulose filter. Lower restriction decreases engine wear.
More Capacity:
A filter’s capacity refers to the amount of contaminants it can hold and still remain effective. AMSOIL EaO Filters have a greater capacity for small, wear-causing contaminants than competing filter lines do. In most applications, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils in normal service, EaO Filters are guaranteed to remain effective for up to 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.
Superior Construction:
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters are made with premium-grade full synthetic media. The strictly controlled processing of this media ensures accurate filter construction, and is what allows Ea Oil Filters to deliver higher capacity and efficiency along with better durability.
Over the service life of a conventional cellulose filter, hot oil will degrade the resins that bind the media. The Ea Oil Filters’ full synthetic media technology is resin-free. It uses a wire screen backing that is pleated with the media for superior strength.
Ea Oil Filters are constructed with HNBR gaskets that are fully tested to extreme distances in numerous severe environments. The filters also feature fully tucked seams, a molded element seal, roll-formed threads and a long-lasting premium-grade silicone anti-drain valve.

Service Life:
AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters are guaranteed for 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil. AMSOIL recommends changing the oil filter at the time of oil change.
If used in conjunction with AMSOIL Motor Oil that is being changed at intervals less than 25,000 miles, the EaO Filter should be changed at the same time. AMSOIL EaO Filters are not guaranteed for 25,000 miles when used with any oil other than AMSOIL Motor Oil and should be changed according to vehicle OEM recommendations.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Oil Filters (EaBP) provide the best possible filtration protection against wear and oil degradation. Working in conjunction with the engine’s full-flow oil filter, AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filters operate by filtering oil on a “partial-flow” basis. They draw approximately 10 percent of the oil pump’s capacity at any one time and trap the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants that full-flow filters can’t remove. The AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.
Higher Efficiency:
AMSOIL EaBP Filters have an efficiency of 98.7 percent at two microns. At normal operating RPMs the EaBP Filter will filter all of the oil in a typical five
quart sump in less than 10 minutes.
New AMSOIL Ea Heavy-Duty Extended-Life Oil Filters (EaHD) provide excellent filtering efficiency and high contaminant capacity for heavy-duty on- and off-road gasoline and diesel applications. They provide extended service intervals that coincide with the maximum drain intervals of AMSOIL synthetic motor oils.
| Soot Removal: AMSOIL has designed a new high-efficiency by-pass filter element that is also a soot removal device. AMSOIL Ea By-Pass Filters use a synthetic/cellulose sandwiched media. The inner layer of the element is composed of a highly efficient cellulose media covered with a full synthetic media outer layer. According to ISO 23556 testing, these filters remove 39 percent of soot contaminants less than one micron. Soot removal efficiency increases approximately 10 to 14 percent when the EaBP Filter is used in conjunction with a standard full-flow filter. |

The Marine Dual Remote Filtration System (BMK18) offers easily accessible remote mounting capability for a full-flow spin-on oil filter and a spin-on by-pass oil filter. Donaldson Endurance™ Filters are designed to withstand severe operating conditions while providing excellent engine protection. First, Endurance filters are constructed of a heavy-duty base plate and housing to protect the lubrication system from outside contaminants. Also, Endurance filters are constructed with high-grade rubber sealing materials that stay flexible and sealed during exposure to hot oils with advanced additive packages.
Assembled with a louvered spiral center tube, Endurance filters, allow more oil flow without compromising strength, and with the housing dome and corner radius being constructed in such a way to provide superior resistance to pressure fatigue. Endurance filters were designed from a heavy-duty hydraulic perspective.
The housing is attached to the base plate with a fully tucked seam and the base plate threads are roll formed. Both construction methods result in a filter that is much more durable in heavy duty/off road applications.
The white synthetic media utilizes a wire screen backing that is pleated with the media for superior strength to provide efficient filtering for prolonged periods of time.
Donaldson Endurance™ lube filters, when used in conjunction with AMSOIL Synthetic motor oil, are guaranteed up to twice the manufacturers recommended service interval, to a maximum of 60,000 miles for heavy-duty on-highway diesel applications.
Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters last longer and offer better protection than conventional cellulose media filters.
